Hampton inn and suites – downtown

The Buncher Company’s first entrance into the hospitality industry was through the development of a limited service Hampton Inn and Suites hotel at the edge of the cultural district in downtown Pittsburgh.

The Hampton Inn and Suites Pittsburgh-Downtown opened in June 2007.  This 8-story, 143-room hotel is the first to be built in the City of Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District, and is located directly across from the Senator John Heinz History Center and adjacent to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.  This moderately priced hotel serves as an amenity to the neighboring offices and businesses and enhances the development opportunities in this community for our neighbors and us.

The hotel features a complimentary hot breakfast, pool and exercise facility, and a state of the art business center. It is the only hotel in the city’s downtown area to offer free parking to its guests.
